A history that began more than 100 years ago

Perlino boasts a history that began more than 100 years ago.
Our wine-growing tradition has strong, deep roots in the hills around Asti, Piedmont, an area where wine-growing, wine-making and knowledge of wine are not only a tradition but especially culture and art that, perfected over time and handed down across the generations, have seen our company accumulate a unique and incomparable background of experience.
The company is currently owned by the Facello family, taking up the consolidated inheritance especially for Asti Spumante and Moscato initiated by the original founders Perlino and Bosso, combining it with the family tradition dating back to grandfather Leone, a well-known wine-maker in the early 1900s. On becoming a stock company in 2004, the Facello family transformed Perlino into a dynamic reality with broader horizons ad today a leader on national and international markets.
Perlino has opted to offer its clients global vocation.

The historic brands of Piedmont still and sparkling wines by Casa Martelletti and Scanavino, as well as the highly-prized tradition of Grandfather Leone, were joined by a selection of Italian producers whose wine-making and product quality philosophy ideally match the company's mission. Regional producers are supported locally by our expert oenologists who supervise the delicate wine-making and bottling stages to ensure sales of truly high quality products.
Yet Perlino is also a consolidated reality in the sphere of spirits, aperitifs and creams - superbly represented by the renowned selection of grappas by Casa Martelletti and its noble classic Vermouth, based on a recipe of the 1700s. With the acquisition in 2007 of the Franzini brand, Perlino significantly diversified production with a very broad offering of liqueurs essentially focusing on a young target.
